This Privacy Policy explains how Vocalist Studio ("we", "us") handles your information when you use our website at vocaliststudio.app (the "Site") and the Vocalist Studio web app (the "App"). We've kept it short and plain because we collect very little.

3. Payment processing

When you purchase Vocalist Studio Pro, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc.. We never see or store your card details. Stripe receives your card information directly from your browser through its secure hosted checkout. What we store on our server is limited to the Stripe Checkout Session ID, the amount paid, the currency, the device ID you generated above, and a paid/unpaid status flag — enough to confirm your unlock and process a refund if you ask. See Stripe's own privacy policy for how they handle your payment data.

4. Microphone permission

The App asks for microphone access only to power features like the Pitch Finder, Target-note challenge, and Voice Recording. Audio is processed in real time by your browser and is not uploaded anywhere. Recorded clips stay on your device unless you explicitly download them.

5. Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies. The Site and App use only the browser's built-in localStorage / IndexedDB as described above. Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout — see their privacy policy.

6. Your rights

Because we don't have a copy of your data on our servers, there is nothing to download or delete on our side beyond the limited payment record above. To delete the App's local data on your device, clear your browser's site data for vocaliststudio.app (and any installed PWA). To request deletion of your payment record, email us — we'll remove it within 30 days while complying with applicable financial-record retention law.

7. Children

The App is suitable for general audiences but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes

If we materially change this policy we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For ongoing use, your continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.
